Everyone Loves Addie

Erica & Vonna came to hang out with Niki Tuesday night while Greg was away. Addie was showered with attention and gave a little love in return too. She loves Erica because she knows how to hold her just right, and she loves Vonna because of their early acquaintance (Vonna was Niki's labor and delivery nurse).

Amy came over to hang out with us while we tended to Addie and to Grant. It was a really good thing that she brought coffee as well.

Addie has begun to get very vocal and happy when she is awake now! This is her talking to and smiling at mom.

Timmy Says Hello

So far, this is the friendliest Timmy has gotten with Addie. He also tried rubbing his head against the top of her noggin, but found that it didn't scratch his itch. Until she is big enough to pet him, he doesn't really seem interested.

Addie can really wail! Greg decided to protect his hearing while dealing with her- those bright orange things in his ears are earplugs. 

Who Does She Look Like? Pt.2

After receiving a better picture of Niki at a younger age, we would like to re-open the discussion of who our daughter looks like. Actually, Niki just wants to state that Addie looks just like her.

My Gym

This is Addie playing with her "Flutterbye Gym." She loves the music and bird noises that it makes! She hasn't yet figured out how to reach out for the toys, but hopefully soon she will. In most of these shots, she was watching mommy more than the dangling toys.
