Here are some pictures from last night's Halloween festivities. At first we weren't planning to dress Addie up, but when we found out that most of the neighborhood kids were going to come out in their costumes at the same time, we decided it was worth it.
So what do you do for a costume when you only have a few hours? A little luau lady!
Here are just SOME of the neighborhood kids. We have a small complex of 20 apartments and there are 22 kids living here (and two more on the way)! The oldest is 6.
Our little apartment complex is great because all the doors open out onto a central courtyard. During the day, the kids all come out and play and the moms talk, so we see a lot of each other. It was rare though to see everyone out at the same time AND after dark!
Josh Powell fires spider webs at me while Jen Myers fixes his mask.

ALOHA!!!
Cute costume. I'm amazed that Addie didn't rip off that lei on her head. It was a miracle that Maggie left her hood on all evening, she usually rips anything on her head right off!!
