We can hardly believe our little man is already two months old!
We see the doctor Monday for weight check and shots, but we can tell you for sure he has grown A LOT and he is a little tank! Check out those thighs!

Niki's parents came to visit a few weeks ago and finally meet their new grandson. We were so glad they were here! With Scott's colic, he's been a real handful. I was thrilled for the extra help. Of course, it's also fun to have anyone else around who adores your children as much as you do! There was lots of oohing and cuddling, as you can see.

We took the kids out to the beach a few weeks ago. (whew! What a lot of stuff to load up for two kids!). It was HOT at home, but at the beach it was COLD!
Scott spent the whole time bundled in every blanket we could find. Here is our friend Erin holding him- he's under there, but you can't see him!

We would like to publicly blame the lack of blog posts over the last month to a rotten addition to our home- colic. At 4 weeks Scott turned from Mr. Happy-Sleepy baby to Mr. Scream-A-Lot baby. We have ruled out a sesitivity to milk or caffeine, and we're pretty sure it's not reflux, so now have just resigned ourselves to accepting colic and looking forward to it leaving in another month or so (that's when we've heard it usually goes away). Scott will be two months old tomorrow, and despite the crying and screaming, we are enjoying him. I'll try to post more pictures soon- when my arms finally don't have a baby in them.

Today was a big day for our little girl! Not only was Addie a flower girl for the first time, but she also got her hair cut for the first time too (see post below)!
What a great day it was! Though hot, we all had a great time. It was a privilege to be part of such a delightful wedding. Both the bride (Addie's Sunday School teacher), and her sweet groom had such nice families and we enjoyed getting to know them. Due to this whole experience, Greg and I had the realization of how short-lived our time with our children really is. Addie looked so grown-up in the fancy dress with her hair done- that was bad enough! But also, we listened to these parents reminisce about the memories of their children growing up. It all suddenly seemed so brief! So we just soaked it all in and enjoyed every minute.

A little moment with the ring bearer, Ryan. These two really hit it off! Several times Ryan gently put his hand up and cradled Addie's cheek. She told him she loved him. He told her he was beautiful. There was a LOT of love.

Addie very diligently sprinkled petals all the way down the aisle (while mommy and daddy held their breath and burst with pride).
She left Ryan in the dust a little bit, but by the end of the aisle he caught up. Both the kids did great!
Sorry- we just think she is sooo beautiful at every angle. We loved looking at these pictures, but I know we are her parents. Hopefully you all aren't bored with them!
