The highlight of the trip to the mall was Addie's ride on the carousel. My dad escorted her, and after she got past the initial concerns of his credentials and qualifications, she had a good time. Then once she figured out that there were three adults (grammy, mom and dad) all standing in the same spot, watching her alone, she really turned it on. Every time she came around, we got a big smile and she received MUCH waving and greetings from the three-chuckleheads-standing-in-the-mall-embarassing-themselves.
Here are the smiles...
followed by...
the kisses.
If ever there was a little girl who is destined to ride a float, it's this one. Good grief! Her wave is a parade wave and now she passes her people blowing kisses. I wish you could all see me rolling my eyes (but it is so cute...).
