Yes, usually when we're in a warm and sunny spot at Christmas time (which is almost always), I start Jonesin' for a white Christmas.
But let's get a taste of reality, shall we? White Christmas means COLD Christmas. It means don't go outside without putting on 40 more layers of clothing, boots, jacket, scarf, gloves, etc. It means wet feet, cold car, redress and undress every time you go outside and come back in. It means cold nose, cold fingers, cold everything! And I'm not the biggest fan of cold everything. So it is probably best that I get my doses of white only occasionally, when I still have the option of coming home to sunshine- the fuel of my soul.
All that was just to say that we had a little show while we were visiting Seattle and it was just enough. Two little dustings, not even enough to stick. We got to see how pretty it was, and then head home to sunny California!
See? Just a dusting.
Off we go to church.
Poor Addie! Nothing between her and the snow but a pair of tights! What a trooper!
Those of you who live in snowy or cold climates may feel tempted to comment on this post (AMY) and list the many benefits of your climate. Save your typing, I cannot be convinced!

WHATEVER! You are so totally moving out here. BTW, this winter hasn't been that cold...only 1 night in the single digits. :)
From your mouth to God's ears, Amy!
